Jab, cross, switch kick!

It's been almost a year... I know :( But let's make this short and sweet. I'm back!!!!

Just yesterday my Muay Thai class had a demonstration in Down Town Chicago for the Asian American Festival. And let me tell you, I was pretty nervous about it. But hey, as soon as I got up there I realized it wasn't such a big deal!! :) Basically we had a mini class on fast mode on stage to show everyone what Muay Thai is. It's a martial art where a bunch of kickboxing moves are used. It didn't last very long since we were only given a short time frame, but that's a good considering how super cold it was out there!!

Here we are warming up.

And let's give some credit to the other performers as well :)

Their costumes were probably the prettiest ones there!

This was my lunch!! Coconut/banana smoothie and pad something noodles and chicken... yummy!! :)

And after a fun, cold, wet, and long day I fell asleep on the train ride home. (^_^)

Beasts roughing it out at summer camp!

On Friday I got back from the best camp's I've been to yet! Yes, it was rugged and we had no mirrors, soap, AC, electricity, or filtered water and were continuously attacked by mosquitoes and lost our blood supply it was awesome because we got away from all our technology for a week and got closer to our friends, peers and most importantly God! We went canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, shooting ( I shot my first gun ever including a 50 Calibur!!), hiking (including a midnight hike), a played a lot of fun games. We enjoyed bonfires, board games, big ball volleyball, and so much more! The preaching by Bro. Ken Schaap was powerful. He spoke on Christ almost the whole week. Some very exciting and wonderful decisions were made. I really had an awesome time!
